Over thirty years of manufacturing experience in the production of knitted accessories entirely made ​​in Italy.

History
 

The company was founded in 1978 in Massa Fermana, as a small family-run workshop by Mario Minicucci, being inspired by the typical developmental model of our territory. As a matter of fact, many small businesses have been created in our area, which became the international hat centre within few years (Massa Fermana and Montappone district). Backed by the precious help of his wife Angela Maria and his sister Anna Maria, Mario gives life to this activity in a rather "adventurous" and unthinkable way for our times: no phone, no fax, he only had his own willpower and the support from friends who had already started activities: in the early days they gave him a hand especially about the issue of contacting and communicating with clients.
 

From the family-run workshop the company grew over the years, increasing the number of employees, machinery, and increasing both the production capacity and product quality, to become one of the leading companies in the area for the production of hats, scarves, gloves and knitted accessories.

 

In 1999, when the children of Mario and Angela joined in the business, the company changed its name to "Minicucci Fausto and Laura s.r.l." and moved to the factory in the industrial area of Mogliano. While retaining its character as a family business, our company faces the challenges of an increasingly demanding market and global manufacturing by combining the wisdom and creativity craft (formed in over 30 years of experience in our industry) with cost optimization thanks to an efficient system of production and by a faster and more effective    communication with customers.



Structure
 

Our company encompasses all stages of the production of knitted accessories: starting from the idea of prototypes, up to the packaging, we are able to follow every phase thus ensuring the highest quality and care of our items. The fleet is composed of rectilinear Shima of various gauges (3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12) and machines for the realization of the gloves.


We are also equipped with internal laundry, rekintting, ironing and different types of sewing machines. The programming of the Shima machines is done internally by specialized personnel, this allows us to rapidly achieve the designs requested by our customers, or to customize the articles from our sample.


Even finishing and packaging of the garments is done internally: this guarantees the each step monitoring of every produced item.


 
Enviroment
 

We moved to the current premises in 1999: a pre-existing factory that has been reclaimed and restored. In 2009 the company has invested in a photovoltaic system that is able to provide for the most part of its energy needs. We have recently also upgraded the building from the point of view of energy saving, replacing old windows with windows for low external temperatures.
